For a basic Virtual Landline, you only need to use a web browser to set everything up (or you can have us set it up for you). To make calls from your virtual landline, you will need a VoIP softphone app or IP desk phone.

We only stock geographical (local) landline numbers right now. We have 100% UK coverage so you can pick an area code for your location.
Is it cheaper for customers to call my Virtual Landline?
Yes, a virtual landline is charged in the same way as a traditional landline is, so it is cheaper for your customers to call your virtual landline number.
How do I place an order?

Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, send us an email or give us a call and ask to have your Virtual Landline service cancelled.
Can I use an existing landline number with you?

How do I answer a call from my Virtual Landline?

When you receive a call from your Ballscoigne Virtual Landline, you will hear a prompt: “Press 1 to accept the call”. You will then know you have a business call. Alternatively, you can have the call show as coming from your Virtual Landline number, in which case you will know the call is a business one.
How do I make calls with my Ballscoigne Virtual Landline?
You will need to install a VoIP softphone app to your smartphone or computer, or you can purchase an IP phone (physical phone) and create a device in our control panel. If this sounds too complicated, please get in touch with our support team and we can help you get set up. There are no additional charges for setting up a VoIP softphone or hardphone.
How often can I change the phone number to divert to?
As often as you like. It’s free, and you can do it from our control panel.
